Dear Friends - We’re excited to start our programme of events for families and young people with our “Meet the Instrument” sessions.

These take place on a Saturday morning over the next 6 weeks, where you’ll get to meet the entire violin family, including the viola, cello and double bass.

The sessions will also introduce the baroque flute, its modern metal cousin, and the recorder family, with woodwind specialist Lisete da Silva Bull.

Violinist Kathryn Parry starts us off this Saturday 18 July at 11am, with a fun introduction to her instrument. There’ll be some live playing from Kathryn, and a chance to ask questions via the chat function.
